Bushco is waisting no time

Terrifically bad news here. "CIA plans to purge its agency Sources say White House has ordered new chief to eliminate officers who were disloyal to Bush"
There is increasingly no room for dissagreement or discussion in the states. I keep asking, is there no way to stop this goverment/machine?!

not the sort of momento mori I appreciate at all.

Pearl, I can only see this as good news. The circle is cloing around Bush. Quicker than we could have imagined or hoped. Its the Bunkerization of the White House. And I'm not talking Archie Bunker.

Bush is clearly mad - paranoid, demented and a menace to humanity. He will eventually be forced to face a war crimes tribunal. That may be some years down the road, but it will happen.

By purging the CIA - if the story's valid - he's letting loose a whole whack of whistleblowers. Dumber than a mime in a vacuum.

I do not believe he can keep the lid on things any longer. Acts as described in the Newsday piece signal a quickening of the pace of collapse.

This past election was a complete fraud. Worse than the first.

The walls will come tumbling down around this nutjob. Perhaps sooner than any of us had hoped.

Bush is shooting himself in the foot. Eventually he'll turn that gun on his head.

Brian,
Oh, how I hope you are right in your projections! I'm doubting such a deus ex machina will save us all from this particular horror flic we are living. But then, I've become a confirmed pessimist regarding the political momentum of those who have assumed power in Murka. I fear that there will be no stopping them without extreme and concerted efforts from the populous. I no longer trust the courts or political system as it is. To protect my own fam and self, I've joined the community in your Northern "center of the universe." Still, though, I look forward to any possibility of your predictions playing out and support all efforts to derail the train wreck to the South. ...still waiting on Lohmann's final Zombie instalments for whether his investigations may lead us to a good cowcatcher that may save all of us in the train's wayward path.
